Finger-licking BBQ Pork Ribs

Ingredients:

  • Baby back pork ribs

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Paprika

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Cumin

  • Chili Powder (optional)

  • Olive oil

  • BBQ Sauce (@dfcyprus)

Recipe:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C

  • Place ribs on a baking sheet or tray with foil (or parchment paper).

  • Combine together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, cumin and chili or Cayenne. Sprinkle all that good stuff over ribs and drizzle with olive oil.

  • (Always with love) Rub the seasoning all over the ribs on both sides.
    Cover tray with foil and bake for 2 hours.

  • Remove ribs from the oven, remove foil and spread the top of the ribs with the barbecue sauce.

  • Increase oven temperature to 240°C and return ribs to the oven, uncovered, and bake for another 10 minutes.

  • Change oven settings to broil on medium-high heat to caramelize the edges (about 3 minutes).

  • Rest for 10 minutes to allow the juices to recirculate back into the meat before slicing.
