This might be one of the most beautiful and calm beaches in Kefalonia with white pebbles and emerald waters.
It’s located in between Poros and Sami at a spot called Koutsoupia Beach.
It’s only accessible by boat and that makes it a true hidden gem.
There, we met Mr. Kostas, owner of a small food hut called “M’anavis” which. means “You turn me on”… And yes his souvlaki did turn us on.
With the sound of the cicadas we enjoyed the tender souvlaki along with a traditional salad, grilled pitta and ice cold beer.
He explained to us how all the vegetable produce came from his own village and spoke to us a bit about his Live music tavern (currently closed for c19) on the island. Before we left I asked him for some life advice and he said:
“Always be honorable. When you don’t scam people, whatever obstacles you find in life, you will always come out and survive.”
